This privacy policy (the "Policy") outlines how Ispeed Electric Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and processes information, including personal information (information about an identifiable individual), that we receive when you access one of our websites or one of our applications (collectively the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you consent to us collecting, using, and disclosing this information in accordance with this Policy, for the purposes mentioned below only, and for any other purpose specified or apparent at the time specific information is collected. If you disagree with anything in this Policy, you must stop using this Platform.


Certain technical and tracking information is automatically collected when you use this Platform, including information about the device you are using, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser, and operating system. Similarly, we automatically collect information through cookies. Please refer to section 7 for more details.

Information collected upon request If you purchase a product through the Platform, we need to collect the necessary information to process, bill, and ship your order, as well as to provide customer service. This information may include:

  • Name

  • Contact information, including phone numbers and postal and email addresses

  • Information required for shipping and billing, including credit card information. If you create an account on the Platform, we will collect the information requested on the account creation form for identification and protection of your account. From time to time, we may ask for additional information to better understand the users of our Platform. This allows us to improve our products and services as well as the customer experience. You are free to provide or not provide this information.


We use the collected information for the following purposes, as applicable:

  • Processing and billing orders

  • Processing payments

  • Shipping, delivering, or returning a product

  • Technical support and customer service

  • Keeping internal records (including for legal, tax, and accounting purposes)

  • Customizing the experience on the Platform based on personal interests

  • Direct marketing (information about our stores, new products, promotions, events, and other updates) all in accordance with the regulations of the Canadian Anti-Spam Law

  • Analyzing the interests, choices, and preferences of our customers to improve our products and services and their marketing.

From time to time, we may use your information to communicate with you by email, phone, fax, or mail for surveys and market research. In doing so, we will comply with the regulations of the Canadian Anti-Spam Law, as well as telecommunications and unsolicited calls laws, as applicable. Access to personal information is reserved only for members of our staff who need access in the course of their duties.


When you submit information on the Platform, we may ask if we can use that specific information to communicate promotional information that you may find interesting, either about us or third parties. Whether you agree or not, you can change your mind at any time by emailing us at


Notably, we may share personal information with trusted partners or providers who act on our behalf in the following cases:

  • Data hosting service providers, to allow us to collect, use, analyze, store, secure, or otherwise process information (including personal information) in the course of our activities.

  • Mail or email service providers, to communicate with you. We may also disclose personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, whether to respond to court orders or other legal information requests we may receive, or to protect our legitimate interests or enforce our rights. For example, we may disclose your personal information if you do not comply with the applicable terms of the Platform, to assist us in their enforcement and execution. In general, the third-party service providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary for them to perform the services they provide to us. However, some third-party service providers, including payment gateways and other payment transaction service providers, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for your purchase transactions. Please note that direct payment gateways adhere to the requirements set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) as established by the PCI Security Standards Council, a collective effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS standards help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our stores and their service providers. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policy to understand how they will handle your personal information. Some of our providers may be located outside of Canada. Therefore, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) where this provider or its location(s) is situated. We are not responsible for the information security practices of third-party service providers.

Third-Party Cookies The Platform may use certain third-party cookies. Please refer to section 7 for more details.

Commercial Transactions For the purposes of this Policy, a commercial transaction includes the purchase, sale, or any other form of acquisition or disposition of all or part of an organization, or its assets; the merger or consolidation of organizations; a loan or any other form of financing; encumbering assets or securities of an organization; or the lease of assets of an organization, or granting or obtaining a license for them. In the event of a potential commercial transaction with third parties, we may transfer any information, including personal information, to these third parties only to the extent necessary: (i) to decide if the transaction will take place and (ii) to complete it, if applicable. With any third party to whom we transfer personal information for the purposes of a commercial transaction as indicated above, we will enter into an agreement in which the third party receiving the personal information agrees to: (i) use and disclose them only for purposes related to the transaction; (ii) protect them using security measures commensurate with their sensitivity, and (iii) if the transaction does not occur, return them to the organization that provided them or destroy them within a reasonable timeframe. Lastly, please note that if we undergo an acquisition or merger with another organization, your information may be transferred to the new owners or the organization resulting from the merger. In any case, personal information can only be used or disclosed for the same purposes for which it was collected or for which it was allowed to be used or disclosed before the transaction occurred.


Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with the law. Subsequently, the information will be anonymized or destroyed. If you delete your account, please note that we may retain your information as necessary for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, or as needed to assist us in enforcing this Policy and any other applicable terms of the Platform.


We follow generally recognized industry standards to protect your personal information from unauthorized loss, use, access, disclosure, manipulation, or destruction. However, please note that no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is ever completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee infallible protection; we can only offer our firm commitment to protect your information, as described herein.


A cookie is a small, non-executable program that the Platform inserts on the hard drives of your devices. These files are useful, notably, for identifying your device, collecting and memorizing choices and preferences made from it, and verifying which web pages and Platform content are visited from the same device. After leaving our Platform or if you are redirected to a third-party website or application, this Policy and any other applicable terms on the Platform no longer apply.


We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, so please check it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the Platform. If a significant change is made to this Policy, we will notify you by email (if you have provided us with your email address). Otherwise, all visitors will see notice of a significant change by accessing the Platform within thirty (30) days prior to the changes taking effect. If you disagree with any future changes to this Policy, you must close your account (if you have one) and stop using the Platform.
